MONOPOL PL 06

DESCRIPTION AND FIELDS OF APPLICATION

Cleaner with a slightly acidic composition for cleaning stone substrates, facing bricks, decorative cements and generally acid-resistant substrates. The product is also used to acidify, opacifying them, ceramic surfaces before the application of protective and decorative coat cycles.

MAIN FEATURES

The slightly acidic reaction does not manifest corrosive action even with long contact times and does not generate soluble salts. The supply viscosity prevents absorption deep into the capillaries of the substrate, facilitating its removal at the end of the cleaning operation.

APPLICATION DATA

The product is supplied ready to use. Surfaces that could be damaged by the cleaner such as glass, fixtures, painted parts must be protected in advance.

Given the wide variety of existing substrates, prior to the intervention perform preliminary tests on representative samples of the material on which you are working, in order to establish the optimal consumption according to the degree of cleaning required and the possible occurrence of alterations,.

The application is carried out by brush, operating for successive areas not excessively large, spreading the product uniformly and leaving it to act for approx.10-20 min. the contact time depends on the climatic conditions and in any case it must not be allowed to dry; for a better result pass during this interval a synthetic or natural bristle brush (not metallic), or a brush. This removal operation should still be carried out before the final rinse. Avoid superficial drying of the product, and if this happens, humidify the area with water spray. At the end of the intervention, wash thoroughly with water, preferably with pressure to remove all traces of product. In hot weather and for very absorbent substrates, before cleaning, the surface to be treated can be prewetted with water spray. As an acidifier for ceramic surfaces, apply the product and let it dry (times vary depending on the type of substrate and weather conditions), completely removing all residues with water.

Operate at temperatures between 10 – 30C, including of the substrate, avoiding application in full sun in the summer season. The amount of dirt to be removed may require repetition of the operation.

YIELD

The yield varies greatly depending on the absorption of the substrate and the degree and type of soiling. On average, 0,1-0,25 L/mis consumed..
