DESCRIPTION AND FIELDS OF APPLICATION

A solvent-based acrylic product for the protective treatment of indoor and outdoor cement floors; water-repellent, in addition to the anti-dust characteristic the product resists fuels, oils and greases in general, reduces the grip of dirt on treated surfaces.

MAIN FEATURES

Substrates regain compactness and are protected from the absorption of possibly spilled substances (water, oils, fuels). Treatment characterized by elasticity, maintained over time and absence of yellowing.

The type of polymer and the solvent mixture used allow the treated surfaces to be put into service quickly, to which it gives a satin appearance. The product reaches its final performance a few days after application. For any subsequent pigmented decorative-protective treatments, use solvent cycles.

APPLICATION DATA

The product is supplied ready to use. The substrate must be clean, free of substances that hinder its penetration (waxes, silicones, oily traces), compact and very important dry; the presence of counterthrusting water may affect the protective treatment. Depending on the porosity and therefore the absorption of the substrate, the treated surfaces could manifest a chromatic toning, provide a preliminary test to evaluate the final appearance of the treatment. Application can be done by brush, roller, spray even airless.

To fully manifest the protective characteristics, provide for the application of two coats of the product; apply the second after approx. 3-4 h and in any case on the previous one completely dried, times may vary depending on the absorption of the support and climatic conditions. Operate at temperatures between 10-30°C, including of the substrate, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight, which would cause the solvent of the protectant to evaporate too quickly. Wash tools with thinner (nitro, synthetic), immediately after use.

YIELD

The yield varies depending on the absorption of the substrate and the state of degradation. On average, the following are treated 3-5 m2/L.
