DESCRIPTION AND FIELDS OF APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Water-based water-repellent protective coating with polysiloxanes in emulsion form for water-repellent treatment of absorbent substrates such as natural stone, brick, plaster, concrete and general building substrates. Also suitable for the protection of glossy lime finishes. Silanes in the presence of moisture react with the capillary walls of the substrate, forming strongly water-repellent interfacial compounds.<\/p>\n

MAIN FEATURES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Treated substrates reduce water absorption primary vehicle through which weathering agents penetrate the structure of materials, developing disintegrating reactions. At the same time, frost damage and the formation of salt efflorescence are reduced. The active substance having small molecular size, does not change the vapor permeability of the treated material, any moisture present in it can thus escape. In addition, as a rule, it does not alter the color appearance.<\/p>\n

All products with water-repellent action must be restored every 3-4 years to maintain the protective properties.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION DATA<\/strong><\/p>\n

The product is supplied ready to use. In order to establish the optimal consumption according to absorption, carry out preliminary tests before treatment on representative samples of the material on which you are working.<\/p>\n

The substrate must be clean; traces of moisture do not affect the use of the product, however, they may hinder its penetration. Application can be done by brush or spray. Regardless of the application system adopted, operate with the “wet-on-wet” technique, proceeding from the bottom up, to avoid product drippings on the untreated substrate remaining evident after application is completed. In case the substrate does not fully absorb the product, the excess must be removed (with rag, brush, etc.), before drying, to avoid the formation of translucent surface deposits.<\/p>\n

Operate at temperatures of 10 to 30\u00b0C, including of the substrate, avoiding application in full sun to avoid impairing penetration. Treated surfaces should be protected from rain for the first 24-48 h after application.<\/p>\n

Clean tools with water immediately after use.<\/p>\n

YIELD<\/strong><\/p>\n

The yield varies depending on the absorption of the substrate and the state of deterioration.<\/p>\n

On average, 0,2 \u2013 0,8 L \/m2<\/sup>\u00a0is treated<\/p>\n
