DESCRIPTION AND FIELDS OF APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thixotropic solvent mixture for the removal of water-based paints and coatings from wall substrates.<\/p>\n

The product is also used for the removal of graffiti from substrates previously protected with specific anti-graffiti products.<\/p>\n

MAIN FEATURES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thickened solvent mixture with low evaporation rate, compared to paint strippers requires longer contact time to remove the coating to be removed, once dissolved it keeps it removable for a long time. Leaves no gelatinous residue that hinders the adhesion of subsequent finishes. Used in graffiti removal it is very fast in removing normal spray enamels, the consistency prevents dripping of the dissolved enamel with possible soiling of the underlying substrate. Mixable in water, it is rinsed off at the end of the operation, preferably with pressurized water. This operation is essential in the removal of graffiti from protected surfaces.<\/p>\n

The solvent mixture used does not require hazard labeling. Although not classified as hazardous, adequate air exchange is required for use indoors.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION DATA<\/strong><\/p>\n

The product is supplied ready to use. In order to establish the succession of interventions, in relation to the thickness of the layer to be removed and environmental conditions, carry out preliminary tests before treatment on representative samples of the support on which you work.<\/p>\n

Application is by brush, roller. Used for the removal of graffiti, a contact time of a few seconds is enough, help the removal with brush; when finished, wash with pressurized water.<\/p>\n

When removing paints and coatings, it is necessary that the material to be removed be dry; excessive moisture slows the action of the product. Application is done by brush, roller by spreading an adequate amount to fully coat the layer to be removed. The contact time varies greatly depending on the type of material to be removed, its thickness and environmental climatic conditions. The minimum contact time is approximately 1 – 2 h at 20C, and the softened film remains removable for several hours.<\/p>\n

Avoid working in full sun and with hot surfaces to be treated. Once the solvent action is complete, the softened layer of paint or coating is carried by trowel. At the completion of the intervention carry out brushing of the surface or better washing with water under pressure (pressure washer). In case repeat the treatment.<\/p>\n

To clean the equipment use water immediately after use.<\/p>\n
